Tips

Don't hold the shot button as long as possible by habit — a quick tap on goal from close range beats an overcharged shot that sails wide. Use the slide tackle (E) to win the ball back the moment you lose it, since chasing a dribbler on foot rarely works. When you're boxed in by two defenders, pass (R) instead of trying to dribble through both; the game rewards moving the ball more than moving the player. And use the mouse camera to check for a free teammate before you commit to a shot — it's easy to miss an open pass while staring at the goal.
